Sprinkler system douses small fire in Fairbanks, Alaska

8/18/2010 - Employees and customers in the Sadler's Home Furnishing Building in Fairbanks, Alaska, had an unexpected 45-minute smoke break when smoke from a fire in a stairwell storage area set off fire alarms. Fairbanks Fire Department personnel responded to the smoky aftermath of the small blaze, which was put out by a fire sprinkler before their arrival.
