Changes in 2012 in the form of Tentative Interim Amendments (TIA’s) to NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, NFPA 13D, and NFPA 25 on the use of antifreeze solutions raises serious questions regarding the liability for contractors that have installed, are installing, and/or are providing maintenance services in properties that contain antifreeze systems. This paper’s intention is to address all three areas and to provide suggested actions to be taken.
