Design Approaches of Nitrogen Generator Systems

Design Approaches of Nitrogen Generator Systems
Join us for a webinar to learn about the design considerations of utilizing a nitrogen generation system as the air supply for dry and preaction sprinkler systems.

We will discuss the sizing requirements and common myths and misunderstandings of the generators.  We will also present the current installation requirements for generators based on the 2019 edition of NFPA 13 and we will discuss the proposed changes to NFPA 13 for the 2022 edition.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this webinar attendees will be able to:
    1.  Explain when the installation of a nitrogen system is warranted.
    2.  Identify the needed system information to properly size a nitrogen generator.
    3.  Identify the potential benefits to the sprinkler system design for the installation of a nitrogen generator.
