Seismic Protection for Fitters
Join us for a course to learn about the installation requirements for seismic protection of fire sprinkler pipe. This webinar is geared toward certified fitters and is CAL-FIRE approved.

This course will review the basic requirements for clearance, flexibility, bracing and restraint, focusing on the prescriptive requirements that can be verified in the field.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
     1.  Identify which components of a sway brace assembly.
     2.  Identify and apply the required locations of bracing and restraint.
     3.  Apply the requirements for clearance and flexibility.
     4.  Understand the maximum spacing requirements and allowable omissions per NFPA 13.
