A New Look at Foam System Design & the Hazards they Protect

A New Look at Foam System Design & the Hazards they Protect
This webinar will discuss the proposed changes for the next editions of NFPA 11 and 16 and the use of foam in special hazards fire protection and the different systems used to protect them.  There have also been significant issues with the use of AFFF over the past few years including a ban on fluorine foams.  As a result, several new products and technology have entered the market and with them, new rules, design methods, and system costs.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this webinar attendees will be able to:
    1.  Identify the changes being proposed to NFPA 11 and 16 and the impact they may have;
    2.  Recognize the difference in the type of foam products that are available and how to apply them; and
    3.  Describe the new system of technology that is available and where it is applicable.
