Chapter involvement increases your awareness of developments in the region where you do business and it increases public awareness through local events and charitable contributions such as Chapter golf tournaments/fundraisers. AFSA Chapters also work aggressively in state and local legislatures for positive fire safety requirements, as well as watching for legislation that may be detrimental to merit shop contractors. Chapters help to bring AFSA news, events, initiatives, and training opportunities to the local level. Chapters also provide terrific networking opportunities with industry leaders and manufacturer/supplier associates.
