Students receive two full weeks (Mon-Fri) of instruction, 60% of which is study and review of NFPA 13 (2016 Ed.).

Each spring the Connecticut Chapter participates in the ABC Constructio Pro Rodeo. This event, in its 6th year, showcases careers in construction to High School Students and promoting the industry's image through career days, safety seminars, hands on demonstrations, and networking between contractors. The Connecticut Chapter runs a Burn Trailer Demonstration as a hands-on, educational experience in fire suppression.
