Sprinkler Testing (CAL-Fire Approved)

This presentation will review the requirements for testing sprinklers in NFPA 25. Specific topics will include the testing interval required based on the sprinkler type and installation environment, selection of representative samples, additional requirements for concealed sprinklers and sprinkler guards. Additionally, this presentation will discuss proposed changes to the latest edition of NFPA 25 and their potential impact on contractors and inspectors. While it is critical for sprinkler systems to be properly designed and installed, it is equally important for these systems to be periodically inspected, tested, and properly maintained to ensure that system equipment will perform as intended.
